11-View to the WNW from Vacaville PO - wave clouds are forming on the east of the Vaca ridge 12-View to the NW at 920 AM from ramp while getting on to I-80 at the Factory Stores- Wave clouds are stationary 13-On I-80- about to join 505 north- sky is clear towards Sacramento 14-View past Nut tree Airport to WSW- wave clouds still there 15-view to NW at Capay Vly - no wave clouds east of ridge  and those on on top of ridge are thinning 16-Rumsey Gap- looks calm

23-Stan and Bill watch Kemp on TO roll- my 26 is not ready to fly 24-Darrryl watches as Kemp does a 180 to the south on departure 25-Kemp took off with a light tail wind, and now he is turning towards the west  26b-position 26-Finally at 348PM I am in the sunshine at 9,000 - Right wingtip is on stonyford- Making my rainbow image in the clouds below 27-out left window-climbing over south end Goat at 8,000- Ill get up to 11,000 so I am above and in front of that lennie before I head south to Walker

28b-position 28-Looking NW while over the south end of goat- I think that gap on WEST side of Goat- with Goat being under the bigger cloud on the right side edge of photo 29-I am now above and west of those clouds you saw in photo27 -  I think I'll head south and see those wave lines that Kemp is talking about 30- You can see the north end of Indian Res thru the gap in the clouds as I head south 30b-position 31- Nice lines of wave clouds looking south from Walker towards Bessa

32-Lines of wave clouds are more clearly defined as you move south- gap is casued by descending air 33- Large gaps between the lines - lift is clearly on the east side of each gap - forming the wave cloud 34- About to turn back to the north 35- -wingtip pointing to the SE - not much cloud to the east of those nice wave lines that are out of the photo to the right 36- wing tip pointing at 3 Sisters - its clear back home at Williams 36b-position

37- Looking north with Walker under right wingtip -  Goat and Snow hidden by clouds, but you can the shape of them in the clouds  38- Running lower, lift is weaker - some lennies turning to stratus layers 39- Shadows are getting long- about 40 mintes to sunset - better think about heading home 39b-position
